Song from the movie Fighting Temptations-He Still Loves Me
Took me a while
But I’m finally here
I just wanna testify
Make it crystal clear
See I’ve been picked out
To be picked on
Talked about out my friend’s mouth
I’ve been beat down
Til he turned my life around [Chorus:]
Seems like I always fall short of bein worthy
Cuz I aint good enough
but he still loves me
(yeah)I aint no superstar
The spotlight aint shinin on me
(no no no no no)
cuz I aint good enough
but he still loves me
Loves meI used to wake up some days
and wish I’d stayed asleep
cuz i went to bed on top of the world
today the world’s on top of me
everybody’s got opinions
They aint been in my position
that it breaks my heart when I hear what they have to say about me yeah

Yesterday at prayer I sat down and read from the bible, like I usually do. I read from 1 Chronicles chapter 28, and I read about how David stood in front of the multitudes of Israel and told them, “I had in mine heart to build an house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD.” He wanted to build a house of rest for the presence of the Lord. The bible goes on to say, “But God said unto me, Thou shalt not build an house for my name, because thou hast been a man of war, and hast shed blood.” David was not the person that God had seen to build the temple, but he used David to “make ready” the building. He gave David the exact plans of how it was to be build and what he needed to do to prepare in making this temple, but David was not the one God wanted to build it.
Strength of Character

I just recently finished reading through the book of Esther, and there were a few qualities that I noticed in her and her uncle, Mordecai, that really stuck out to me. In Esther 4:14-16 I see a certain dedicated, determined, jump in with both feet, “We ain’t getting any younger, what’s the worst that could happen,” attitude embodied within these people.
A Contentious person

Hey everyone!
So I was reading proverbs the other day when I had to stop and laugh! I read the verse Proverbs 21:9 “It is better to dwell in the corner of the housetop, than with a contentious woman in a wide house.” For some reason this made me laugh…I think it was due to the fact that I was imagining a man on the top of a house huddled in a corner with a woman down below throwing a fit yelling at the man her opinion. I started to think about this verse and I realized I had absolutely no idea what the word contentious actually meant. I looked it up in the dictionary and found out it meant exhibiting an often perverse and wearisome tendency to quarrels and disputes. Thinking about some people I know who are hard to be around because all they want to do is argue and prove their point, I was reminded of myself when I was younger and I would argued with my brother just to, well argue I thought about how that must have been for my mom to have to stand the constant bickering between the two of us. So to all of you out there, be aware of how you act. Cuz In this world you will always be able to find people willing to argue, but when are people going to stop and just listen?
“From the Inside Out”

In my heart and my soul
Lord I give You control
Consume me from the inside out
Lord let justice and praise
Become my embrace
To love You from the inside out
