Endurance

Matthew 10:22b says, “He that endureth to the end shall be saved.” Jesus said this when He was sending the twelve disciples out to preach the Word, heal the sick, cast out demons, etc. He had informed them that their task wouldn’t be easy, but that their endurance would be rewarded.

Holy

The word “Holy” has several different meanings, with all of the definitions pointing to God. Holy means to be divine; it means exalted or worthy of complete devotion; and it means to be set apart for God or the service of God. This blog is just a simple look at these definitions of “holy”, the verses that correspond with these definitions, and the realization that God is holy and we are called to be holy as He is holy.

Wow is all I can say…

It is 2008. Another year has gone by and it seems to me (maybe not to anyone else) that 2007 just got here. The good news is that we are that much closer to the coming of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. However, it is also that much more crucial that we stay right with God and lead others to Him. God never said living for Him would be easy, but He said He would be with us and bless us.
