William Shanks is famous for taking 15 years of his life to calculate pi to 707 places. This is a great accomplishment. The sad thing about this story is that on year 11 he made a mistake and the next 4 years worth of calculations were incorrect. So really only the first 527 places are correct. Moral of the story? Humans make mistakes. I make mistakes. You make mistakes. Forgive and move on.
