Acts 17:1-6 says, “Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews: And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures, Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ. And some of them believed, and consorted with Paul and Silas; and of the devout Greeks a great multitude, and of the chief women not a few. But the Jews which believed not, moved with envy, took unto them certain lewd fellows of the baser sort, and gathered a company, and set all the city on an uproar, and assaulted the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people. And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also;”
What I have to say is quick and concise, because not a whole lot needs to be said. My point is this: When you live for Jesus and give everything in serving Him, the world takes notice of who you are. They will notice that there is something different about you and that you have something they need. They will notice the love and joy you have and wonder what makes you act like that. Believe it or not, it won’t take much for them to notice the impact you are making for Jesus.
While we are nothing extraordinary, we have something extraordinary. We have something the world needs. We have the Name of Jesus, the only SAVING name, applied to our lives and we have the Holy Ghost, and this is what everyone needs.
If we give our all to Jesus, we can turn our world upside down for Him!
