The poetic work of my sister.

Spiritual Thoughts

So, my sister, Amanda, isn’t too shabby with her poetry. She wanted me to post this on here for y’all. I hope it blesses you, or at least keeps you busy for a minute.

What can I say that has not already been said?
How can I describe your glory in a new way?
Each day the Sun rises to greet you,
And bows in humble adoration as it sets
Behind the mountains your glorious hands have sculpted.
Yet even after it flees from my sight,
it lends its glory to sing with the clouds in visible harmony.
The Sparrow sings its song of thanks to you.
The trees bow low to you
With the wind singing in their branches.
Even the streams of water offer you their praise.
All creation joins in an endless symphony
Resounding their praises to the God most High
Whom they rejoice to call their Creator.

Yet man passes by,
deaf to the songs of praise around him.
As he goes about his daily routine,
The rocks at his feet cry out
And offer their voice to the symphony.

Let not my song be sung by the stones.
Let me join with creation, and forever sing:

Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty!
The Earth is filled with His Glory!
