Everytime I hear this song I get goosebumps so I figured this would be a good post to share with everyone. As the song says, “I ain’t good enough, but He still loves me.”  It always seems like right when I feel like I’m at a good place in my walk with God I mess up. I sometimes have the thought in my head, “how can He continue to forgive me over and over again; I don’t deserve it.” But there are so many verses that promise that our sins will be forgiven. 1 Peter 5:15 - “And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven.” I just gotta keep reminding myself that there was only one man who was and ever will be perfect and that is Jesus Christ. I’m no where close to perfect, but I sure can strive to be what God wants from me. I am so thankful for a God who loves me no matter what and hears every prayer no matter how small or big it may be.  A couple more verses to think about: II Samuel 22:7 “In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.” Revelation 4:11 “Thou art worth, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou has created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”So remember God still loves you and me, but lets continue to strive to be Christ-like until the end!

   I don’t know this song, but it’s got a good message; that, although we aren’t worthy of anything God gives us, including his love, He still loves us.
   There’s another verse that I think goes really well on the point about God forgiving our sins and that is I John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

   The message of this song is great. The truth is we don’t deserve any of the blessings God gives or even the love God shows to us. But the good news is He gives it to us any way.
